Mini tour of Europe 13th October - Slovenia,Bled,Camp Bled to Germany,Kirchheim unter Teck, Aire

Cant believe our luck this return trip with the weather.  Woke to another sunny morning with clear blue skies though it was cold and didn't warm up till midmorning.  Emptied waste tanks and filled up with fresh water,  checked out €23.00 not bad considering the facilities.  Got away for just gone 9.00 and headed for the motorway network.  Not a lot to say about todays drive other than tunnels, tunnels,  mountains and tunnels! It was a long day, coverd 371 miles in nearly 8hrs of driving. Enjoyable thanks to the scenery especially from Slovenia with the Julian Alps to the border with Austria and Germany. It looked like the whole mountain sides were ablaze with the autumnal colours, realy showing off against the deep blue skies.  Shame I couldnt get photos,  phones flat and wont recharge!
Three point to remember next time we come this way. 1, avoid motorways around Munich, better to use A roads to Saltzberg then pick up the A10 motorway. 2, allow more time if using the aire in Kirchheim unter teck. Its a realy nice looking town and needs a few hours to explore it properly. 3, if stopping for lunch near to Cheimsee lake better to get off the motorway and stop in a water side village far more peaceful! Oh and lastly make sure you purchase vignettes for Slovenia and Austria we got checked at the border crossing.
Totals for today 371 miles. 7hr 51 minutes drive time.
