Trip to Scotland - day 9 Gruinard Bay to sound of Ramsay overlooking island of Rona.

Woke expecting overcast sky's after seeing the weather forecast but no it was sunny again !
Had a lazy breakfast in the sun and continued to retrace our steps from earlier in the week to Poolewe stopping for bread at the village store. Then on to Gairloch and turning off the main road ar Kinlochewe heading for Applecross. Just after turning we came across a little coffee houses and stopped for a while enjoying a latte in the sun. The scenary became very grand as we drove through a Glen surrounded by huge mountain's towards Torridon. Just past Torridon we pulled in for lunch overlooking the stoney beach of Loch Torridon.  It was a beautiful spot and we considered staying the night but after an hour or so the wind got up and so we moved on still heading for Applecross. We didn't take the short route but headed around the coast road, a tiny single track road with breathtaking views across Loch Torridon. After an hour or so we still hadn't reached Applecross so we looked out for a suitable night stop. We found a small car park with a couple of campers parked up , overlooking the sea towards Sky. It felt like we had driven to the top of the world with such big sky's streaming forever alround.
We pitched up and sat eating supper while the sun sank into a cloudy sky, the first we had seen this trip, would the good weather come to an end?
Miles to day 67.
