Trip to Scotland - day 8 Firetrap beach to Ullapool

A very windy night and morning but still sunny ! We headed for the Scottish trust owned water falls about 1p mile outside of Ullapool. A slow but enjoyable drive , we stopped near a mountain stream for lunch and ended up lying in the sun for a couple of hours. The fall are spectacular with a bridge spanning the gorge easily 500 feet deep, it swayed as you walked along the open planks, great fun but Angie didn't think so. We walked around the gorge edge on a trail before heading into Ullapool for a  fish and chips tea.
We then retraced our journey to a car park overlooking a beautiful sandy beach Ann sat watching the sun go down. Another perfect day !
97 miles.
