Trip to Scotland - day 11 Staffin to Sligachan , Skye

Had the most fantastic view to wake up to yet again. The sun was trying to break through the heavy cloud cover and reflecting off the sea with the mountains of the mainland in the distance. I sat with a mug of tea watching birds dive for breakfast. Then after bacon butties we got the boots out and walked up to a view point, only an hour or so but well worth it for the view of North East Skye.
It had gone 1.00 when we made a move , I was tempted to stay put but we had run low on drinking water. We pulled in to a car park just north of Staffin to see quiraing a land slip high in the mountains, we ll worth a visit but very busy. We stopped at the northern most point of Skye for lunch before pulling into a local village shop for much needed water. We did try  a club site but they were full up. It was now getting late and we decided to find a pull in but all the suitable ones had been taken, I began to wish we had stayed put when we found a perfect spot, a pull in off the main road onto an old section of the origanal road, hidden from traffic by an earth bu d and overlooking forest to the mountains.  We sat watching the sun go down while eating supper outside.
Miles today 90
