Trip to Scotland - day 12 , sligachen, Skye to Gairloch.

Managed to get Internet on my phone , slow but enough to get a weather forecast. It looked like it was going to be dull with rain for a while from Skye down to Mull ( Mull was the next stop ) so looking for the warmest place we doubled back on ourselves and headed for Gairloch where the weather was not to bad for a few days. It was a 2.5 hour drive but we stopped off at a  waterfall ( didn't make a note of the name ) pretty place and too busy. We pulled onto the Big Sands campsite at lunch time after picking up supplies in the village. Sun was out and not so much as  a breath of wind. The campsite was virtually empty so we picked a beautiful pitch high up overlooking the sandunes and beach to Skye in the distance.
Showerd and cleaned the van out before relaxing with a book for the afternoon.
Supper outside but the midges became a problem probably because of the lack of wind so we moved back to the van.
Great day and only 100 mile.
