27th January - villderome to somewhere !

Woke early around 5.00 so had a cup of tea and stupidly got back into bed, falling asleep again and not waking till gone 8.00.
We packed up quickly skipping breakfast but ended up stopping for French pastry and a mug of tea at 10.30.
This is the slow section of the trip as it's off and on motorways to avoid the tolls but this was the wort ever. Unusual heavy traffic, roadworks and an accident meant that by 6.50 it was dark and still another 80 odd miles to the over night stop in the foot hills . We pulled into a motorway aire just north of Pax and thought stuff it, no rush anymore no work !
Only 300 miles today !
