With the check closing at 8.50 am I thought 4 hours to get to Folkstone would be plenty but I didn't allow for the M25. Traffic was heavy and we arrived at 9.30 5 minutes after the train had left ! No problem got straight onto the next one and left around 10.00.
From Calais the traffic was light and soon become even lighter as we headed for Le Mans with only a handful of cars on the motorway. Mist gave way to clear sunny sky's that lasted all day, ending with a lovely sunset and Ange hanging out the window after a photo.
Pulled into the Aire at Villedomer at 6.50 , pitch black but lovely and quiet.
