After very windy night that threatened to blow the roof off the van we woke to a beautifull sunrise.
We got into our usual packing routine , had breakfast and picked up some fresh bread from the local shops. on the motorway for 10.00.
It was a steady climb all morning hitting 4000 ft according to the satnav by the time we stopped for lunch. In those couple of hours the temperature dropped to 11deg and it started raining , what a difference a couple of hours make !
Took a wrong turning 40 mile outside of Pamplona and ended up on the toll road. €9.00 later we pulled up for fuel at Pamplona, filled up to the brim for €99.00 gave the guy €100 and he gave me €10.00 back ! Resault, thats the toll bill paid for.
Carma got its own back later when I ended up taking another wrong junction in the dark on a mountain road in the Pyrenees !!
The whole area was flooded with rivers bursting there banks and flooding roads left right and centre and to be lost as well.
Eventually found the village and pulled onto the Aire at 19.30
Mileage today was a little higher than expected due to my cockup at 379.
