Mini tour of Europe 3rd October- kamp kelbic, Croatia to kamp Kosinera, Murter island,Croatia

Another peaceful night with only the sound of the sea gently lapping on the beach. Sun rose filling the van with a warm soft glow, time to get up and move on. The plan was to take our time through Germany on the way down. Awful weather put a stop to that and now we are here in the sun its hard to leave to return to the cold. We decided, again, to change the plan and look for a really nice camp that we could stay put for a while before heading home. Setting off down the coast road again we could see the small island of Murter joined to the mainland by bridge. Deciding to have a look we swung off the coast road for the first time in days. Through the seaside village of Tisno ,over a small swing bridge and continued along the main road that runs down the centre of this  small finger of land, running parallel with the mainland. The road ran to the fare end of the island and the town of Murter, a small town, then finished at the harbour where we turned and retraced our route. Looking out to the south side of the island I noticed a couple of vans parked up on a headland, we turned off down a bumby tree lined dust track that opened up revealing  a beautiful horse shoe shaped bay , facing south with vans parked up along the shore. We parked up, found out the prices and asked if we could look around.  What wasnt obvious at first was the site continued around most of the bay, with no dedicated pitches. Walking to the far end of the track we found a beautiful elivated pitch overlooking the bay with steps down to a small patch of shingle. Perfect.
We have supplies for maybe 6 or 7 days so we decided to stay put.

Total miles - a massive 21 !
