Wind was still blowing at storm force this morning. Had breakfast and was thinking on what to do when gardeners turned up to cut the hedges around the pitch ( gardeners isn't really a term I should use !)
With two stroke engines screaming away we thought stuff it and whent out for the day , not too far just 10 mile up the coast.
Apart from one other car we spent all day on our own. The wind didn't let up up for a minute but it didn't stop us from getting out and watching the surf smashing in over the rocks and beach. We found a sheltered spot out of the gale and lay in the warm sun for an hour before heading back for supper.
