9th February - You guessed it , La Garrofa

The sun rise woke us this morning, reflecting of the calm sea and filling the van with soft orange light .
Had breakfast outside the van enjoying the warm sun.
When down to our usual spot on the beach but the wind started to blow hard so we bottled out and had lunch in the van.
As it wasn't sunbathing weather we locked up the van and went for a walk up the mountain track to look at the next bay round the coast.
After a couple of mile we picked up a rough track back down to the coast. Just as we started down an old chap shouted after us. He told us that the track was a dead end and to carry on the route for a little longer and that would put us on tge coast road. Good job he came when he did ! We chatted for a while exchanging stories of place visited. He was a retired English man living in Almeria for the last 25 years.  He gave us some ideas on places to visit and went on his way.
As we followed the coast back to the campsite the wind really blew sending waves crashing in a spraying us, it was a laugh.
Back to the van we settled in for what may be a rough night.
