The air was still and warm with bright orange light of sunrise shining into the van through the roof vent. Peeking outside it was obvious that it was going to be a lovely sunny day. We sat in the sun for breakfast then lay on the beach from 11.00 not moving apart from lunch and to collect cold beer from the camper fridge. It was the hottest day so far, easily into the mid twenties not bad for February and we still hadn't reached the halfway point of the trip. I lay in the sun contemplating on taking a swim but carried on reading my book instead. It's an addictive story of a young guys ride across America on a 100cc Honda bike used by the Australian postel service, very funny and made my feet start to itch for another bike trip.
The forcast wasn't to good for tomorrow so we lay in the sun for as long as we could making the most of it before heading back for supper, another great day doing sod all :)
