Day 7- Trogir,Croatia to Dumbrovnik,Croatia

The plan was to get up early but then what's the rush I thought and went back to sleep, big mistake because when I woke up again the sun was on the tent and it was already hot.
We packed up the bike and paid the old chap a whopping £26.00 for the two nights plus beer 😊
Set off around 9.00 ish and then spent over 40 mins trying to get through the rush hour traffic, once clear of Togir centre we pulled in an fuels up. Then the bike wouldn't start. I suspected it had over heated sitting in the traffic or was it the battery terminal again ! A handy Policeman gave us a push but i luck Si we pushed the bike back off the road and left it for a while. Ten minutes later stabbed the starter and it fired up, very strange !
We rode the coast road as far as Dubci then turned off to pick up the motorway , it was just far to hot to continue to ride the coast road. We climbed up a great stretch of twisting road with good view back down the coast to Trogir, its a great place and definitely one to put down for a revisit.
We stopped for fuel at 12.00 and a service station sandwich, surprising the crap that you will eat when starving.
Work continues on extending the motorway but for now you have to leave literary at the end of the road in Ploce. Rejoining the coast road we went straight through border control into Bosnia with just a glance of our passports, twenty minutes later we went back into Croatia, strange thing borders .
After stopping for a cool off and fruit from a road side seller we pressed on for Dubrovnik . This stretch of coast is nothing but beautiful and the road one of the best to ride with twists and turns all the way.
We pulled in at the new bridge that takes you into Dubrovnik a got a few photos. It was 3.30 ish by the time we pulled onto the campsite.
Pitched without any problems and took a walk into the town to pick up some supplies.
We had supper at the tent and chilled with a bottle of beer as the sun disappears on another red hot but great day.

Miles today - 175
Hours in the saddle - 5
