Woke to another beautiful sunny morning and best of all not even a breeze. The forcast was for a dry cloudy day so we had breakfast and nipped up to the local shops in Nija for supplies.
Looks like everyone does the grocery shopping on Mondays in Spain as the shelves were almost empty so we headed for Almeria another 20 mins up the road.
With the van well stocked and lunch time coming we headed for the coast rather than go back to the site.
Found a pull in on the sands at Capo De Gata. Apart from 4 other vans hardly a soul about. The beach ran for maybe 3 or 4 mile backed by a marsh nature reservation. It would make a perfect spot for wild camping , one to remember for next time!
It was tempting to stay until sunset but I wanted to get back to the site before dark so we headed off around 6.
Sat out in a warm evening with the Pizza cooker going under a completely clear starlite sky, must sort out how to take photo's of times like this !
