The penultimate day before leaving get for home so we decided to spend it on what gas become one of our favourite spots, the beach at Playa de La Fabriquilla .
The sun shone but the wind slowly picked up as the day went on but it didn't spoil things.
Late afternoon a park ranger turned up and spoke to all the camper van / motor home owners as he worked his way down the car park. On reaching us he explained as best he could that we could stay till dark and then had to move on, "sleeping isn't allowed" he said. Not a problem as we had planned to be on our way by 6.00pm. Other vans began to pack up and move on but we stayed till 6.00 as planned. I wondered what the other van would do and sooned fou d out when we drove off. They had all parked up in another car park on the opposite side of the village !
Took the slow scenic route back to site driving through the Rodalquilar valley, a large flat plain surrounded by mountains and even in the fading light was a wash with colour. A beautiful part of Spain and we'll worth another visit.
