19th February - stormy Las Negras

Wind blew strong all night,  rocking the van and giving the awning a bashing. After checking the weather and seeing even stronger winds predicted we took let the awning down and secured it with refilled old water bottles.
The sky was grey and the wind blew constantly so we stayed indoors reading and spent a couple of hours researching the next van trying to decide on what was important and the best layout to suit our style of use. Often this trip we wished we did not have to return to the camp site but be able to stay out and wild camp, this will be the main point when we come to upgrade.
