Made plans several weeks ago to take the van down to Bath for a long weekend. Finished work Thursday and packed the van only to have a phone call from the estate agents. Someone wanted to view the hose Saturday afternoon. Change of plan then , we left Saturday at 3.00 only to sit in traffic all down the M5 , 3.5 hrs to do 100 mile !
We then spent half hour looking for the campsite. Ended up down a tiny track and curbed the front nearside alloy wheel. Eventually got to the site after ringing the site owner pitched up and the rain started.
Nice level site with a bus stop outside the gate to take you directly into Bath perfect.
Had tea still raining , watched a film still raining buckets so whent to bed.
Rained all night and was still raining this morning. We decided to have breakfast and chill this morning and see if the weather picked up later.
Angie how come my feet are wet ?? Great the sink waste had split dumping all the washing up water into the cupboards and onto the floor soaking into the rug and carpet.
Moped up and tried to dry it out, still raining. Checked the weather rain forcast with storms all day tomorrow. So packed up and came home.
Worst weekend so far but on a positive side we've found a great site to visit Bath just need to wait for decent weather !
