The sun was up before us today. Clear blue sky's as we looked out across the bay to a fisherman and his wife. We watched them at work while supping at the first brew of the day. They worked from a small rowing boat, the wife working the oars while the husband pulled in the nets. After ten minutes or so the nets on board they rowed off. A hard life, I thought but it must be good to live simply.
We decided to stay put for the day. I left Angie reading and jumped on the bike to go and get supplies from the local shop. Parked outside the bike drew attention from the delivery lads. They stopped, smiled and chatted in Turkish to me while pointing at the dials. I could only smile back and guess that with all the small mopeds on he road the site of a large bike was unusual. I must say, unlike Albania I never felt threatened and the Turks were very friendly.
Lay around on the beach for the rest of the day and chilled.
